Friends of Penny
Penny came to us in her mommas belly. Pocahontas was just 8 months old and had given birth to the tiniest little girl called Penny. Penny was born full term but her mother was so tiny we were concerned for her health. Pocahontas did everything she could, but she just wasn't mature enough to take on the roll of a mother, she was still a baby herself and constantly followed her own mother around (Jasmine). She fed Penny and she did a great job of that, but wanted nothing to do with her much after that. She had loads of cousins to play with from the same rescue case, but Penny was so tiny she would run to us to play with when we entered her stall. She loved to run and jump on your lap and that is when this little girl became the biggest cuddle bug of all. Any time this little girl doesn't feel well she still likes to be carried and cuddled. She's more than happy to run and play with the orchard crew, but as the Unofficial Mayor of Vashon 2020 & 2023 she will always be the Princess of the Herd.
