Our Special Needs Goaties exhibit a diverse range of abilities. From their incredible sense of smell to their cautious steps, each one has a unique story. Let me introduce you to a few remarkable members of our herd :
Blind Goatie Sprite and Petal: Sprite, the blind goat, and Petal, the blind sheep with lady part cancer, have both adapted to living with distinct vocalizations they have learnt from The Goat Guardians. These noises help guide them toward their morning meals or reunite Petal with her flock when she find her flock has strayed away from her.
The Pirate Crew: This spirited group faces their own challenges. Whether it’s shoulder issues, leg problems, or a rocky start in life, they’ve adapted with varying levels of “peg leg.” Meet Gandalf, Gucci, Sprite, Lola, Lesil, Fennik, and Bear—the resilient buccaneers of our sanctuary.
Cadbury, the Triumphant: Cadbury, OGH’s very own tripod, is nothing short of incredible. After a tree-related accident that left his leg broken in two places, his guardian made the difficult decision to amputate. Almost 8 years later, Cadbury continues to thrive at the age of 11.
Our commitment extends beyond the ordinary. Each goat receives specialized care tailored to their age, stage, and any unique needs that may arise.
